“It was 1976, my newlywed bride and I had recently moved from northeast Ohio to sunny Deland with dreams of making it big in the rock n roll music industry. After working a job at one of the local lumberyards, an opportunity presented itself to partner with a family friend and open a small store selling paint and paneling. Through long hours and late nights, we were able to expand our offerings, growing into a supplier of building materials for our loyal customers. Even with the competition of other lumberyards in the area, this community’s unwavering support allowed us to purchase the one acre wooded lot adjacent to the original location which helped us create the foundation of what we are today. Fast forward, just shy of 50 years has passed but our focus hasn’t changed. We are committed to providing professional, unsurpassed customer service and exceptional building materials to our most valuable asset, our customers.”
